I went, he went, she went the whole entire YMCA world went!!
WOW!! what a week, any one who went to this will know what im on about but for those who dont have a clue i will explain...
I am a small part of a massive movement known as the YMCA and ive never seen it so big until that day i stepped foot in Prague.
There was people from England,Norway,Romania,Sweden,Russia,USA,Ukraine,Japan,Mexico & the list could go on and on!!
A week just for the YMCA's of the world to get together and unite.
This happens every 5 years and this year i was lucky enough to go along to it along with 6 other residents from my YMCA and a few staff.
There was everything going on, workshops, entertainment such as gospel singers, the powerteam, tensing, singers and the artful dodger!!
We all stayed in hostels around the city centre and travelled there in the mornings and back home late at night to prepare ourselves for the next day.
To a few of us this was a massive experience as we had never even been on a plane before and never been on holiday before either.
To me it was a blessing, just under a yr ago i was homeless with no hopes and happiness in life now 7 months on ive had the best experiences of my life and its all thanks to the YMCA my home!
For those who couldn't go or those who are just curious as to what it was all about and what it all looked like i have lots of pictures which are in the GALLERY section at the top left, Enjoy.....
